The Holy Spirit brings the person and work of Jesus Christ to sinful humans by creating faith in them through the Gospel (“Good News”) of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit then continues to guard and keep that faith through the reception of God’s Word. The Holy Spirit alone is the source of a God-pleasing life, empowering them to live holy lives of loving service to everyone.
