During the church service, the ushers gather the church offering and the Connection\/Prayer Request Cards. Please <a href=\"mailto:schroederart21@gmail.com\" target=\"_parent\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>email Art Schroeder<\/strong><\/a> our Head Usher to volunteer.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #666699;\">Greeter<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Would you like to be a greeter at either the 8:00 am or 10:45 am service? We are looking for smiling faces who are willing to say hello and welcome people to our church. You would need to be in the narthex at least 15 minutes before the start of the service. Please <strong><a href=\"mailto:gvkriauciunas@gmail.com\" target=\"_parent\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">email Gintas Kriauciunas<\/a><\/strong> for more information.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #666699;\">Lector<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Members of the Lector Ministry are charged with effectively proclaiming the scripture readings and the Psalm. The commitment includes preparing the readings ahead of time. A flexible scheduled is offered. To obtain further information, please <strong><a href=\"mailto:m.brunelle@stjohnslagrange.org\">email Dr. Marc Brunelle, Director of Music<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #666699;\">Altar Guild<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The members of the Altar Guild serve by caring for, maintaining and preparing the sanctuary for worship, including setting out, cleaning and storing the communion vessels and linens. The Altar Guild hangs the appropriate paraments for the time and season of the church year and decorates the sanctuary for church seasons and festivals.
