Greetings to our St. Greetings to our St. John’s Family,
St. John’s Board of Parish Ed and Family Life is coordinating our church-wide small group study for Lent. We currently have several groups meeting at various times and are now organizing new groups to accommodate additional participation.
Our six-week study is a recently published book with coordinating video content by Max Lucado entitled In the Footsteps of the Savior. The study will take us on a journey that recounts Jesus’ ministry on earth and his death on the cross, from Bethlehem, Nazareth, Galilee, the Jordan River, Bethany, Caesarea, and finally to Jerusalem. As we see the places Jesus walked from a new perspective, we will deepen our connection with the Savior on the cross and the King of the universe.
This is a great opportunity to study and fellowship with others during Lent as we prepare to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection! Please indicate your preferred time or times to participate in the Lenten study by completing the survey accessed by the link below. We will assemble groups according to schedule preference and share the results with everyone. (If you are already a member of an existing group, there is no need to respond.)
