Partnering in Prayer
We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people. Colossians 1:3-4
Friday, July 8
- Pray for health, safety, and peace of mind as we travel by plane to Houston alongside congregations from around the country and world.
- Pray for Gathering planners as they prepare for our arrival.
Saturday, July 9
- Pray for togetherness and unity among our team as we begin our time together.
- Give thanks for the city of Houston hosting the LCMS Youth Gathering and for all the staff making the event possible.
- Pray for a wonderful day as a team exploring Space Center Houston.
- Pray for joy-filled hearts as we gather with thousands in Minute Maid Park for the first time.

Sunday, July 10
- Pray that through our time in Houston young people might experience Jesus’ love In All Things.
- Give thanks for hotel workers, safety personnel, restaurant staff, and many others caring for the needs of the Gathering throughout the week.
- Through the work of the Holy Spirit, pray the words of Bible Study leaders and session speakers inspire those who listen to build their lives with Christ In All Things.

Monday, July 11
- As we serve the city of Houston at our servant event at the Houston Food Bank, pray for safety, good health, and the ability to be Christ’s hands and feet In All Things to those in our midst.
- Pray for all the Illinois Districts as they gather together at the Truck Yard for an afternoon of food, fellowship, and fun.
- As we gather with the young people and adult leaders, pray that God would bless our time and their ministries.

Tuesday, July 12
- Give thanks for the hundreds of volunteers serving the Gathering and pray that through their words and actions, young people see God’s hand In the story of All Things.
- Pray for young people to find their place in the community of faith gathered and peace in knowing our God is In All Things, no matter what.

Wednesday, July 13
- As we worship, pray for the Spirit to be at work, bringing unity and strengthened faith to all who are gathered that In All Things we may bring glory to God’s name.
- As we are sent, pray that our hearts will be filled with celebration, praise, and passion for sharing the truth of our In All Things Savior.
- Pray for safe travels as we fly home to Chicago and return to our households.
- Pray for young people to take this experience home with them and to continue to live in worship of the One who is In All Things.

A Prayer for All
Lord God, In All Things Father, You show us Your love, compassion, and acceptance through Jesus Christ. Grant that we may listen to your promises and help us to cling to the hope of the Gospel In All Things. There are many challenges in this world, yet you have reconciled it all. Fix our hearts on the story of All Things where true love and joy are found; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
