Courageous:
The Resolution for Men &
Women
Leaders: Bob & Alison Burke
The Resolution for Men (Room 211)
Resolve to fight for Justice. Every generation encounters evils that need
to be confronted and addressed. And every generation needs strong men to
rise up courageously against evil. "He has shown you, O man, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and
to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8. Join us this week as we discuss
how to confront evil, pursue justice and love mercy with God's help.
The Resolution for Women (Room 210)
My Integrity. Throughout history, dealing with integrity and personal
purity has struck some of the deepest chords in women's hearts, challenging
and convicting them in a way that really resonates. "Blessed are those whose
way is blameless." Psalm 119:1 This week, with God's help, we will resolve
to live with the highest standards of virtue and purity.
Pursuing Integrity:
A Bible Study based on the Book of Daniel
Leaders: Sue and Andy
Kunz Room 203
Daniel had it all—bright, good looking,
high social standing, a sharp mind, and a heart devoted to Yahweh.
Unfortunately, he became a prisoner of war when the Babylonians invaded
Judah and spent the rest of his life in a foreign land. The bottom had
fallen out for Daniel. The question for us is what we will do when the
bottom drops out for us and we “end up in Babylon.” We will be discussing
how God is always there and how we learn to hold fast to Him who loves us.
Lutheranism 101
Leaders: Mark & Kristen Stapleton,
Room 202
This class examines our Lutheran beliefs
and heritage in a fresh way. This is a good refresher course for lifelong
Lutherans, and a great starter course for those who are new to Lutheranism
looking to understand what we believe.
