LMM
operates with a mission to promote peace and right relationships through
Christian service to those who are oppressed, forgotten, and hurting.
LMM supports advocacy efforts for social justice in the Cleveland area,
aides those re-entering the community after incarceration, provides
adult care homes, links the disabled with accessible housing and
employment, shelters men in the area and helps them become
self-sufficient, and supports at-risk teens to provide healing through
Christian love and service.
Building Hope in the City in Cleveland
Building
Hope in the City is a Lutheran organization seeking to strengthen urban
ministry and missions in Northeast Ohio. This organization’s ministry
provides a broad new voice for the importance of God’s presence in the
city as well as His people sharing their witness of His love. This
organization focuses on planting new ministries and renewing existing
ministries by planting churches with a goal of five in Northeast Ohio by
2012, encouraging and equipping congregations to embrace mission
renewal, and sending God’s people into the city.
