“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His
appeal through us” (2 Cor. 5:20). Faith encourages putting faith into
action through urban outreach. Faith provides many opportunities to
support families in need in the community. Urban ministries at Faith
collect gifts to feed the homeless and hungry, gather school supplies
for kids that will not have them, and even dance their way to raise
funds for Lutheran City Ministries. As a part of P.O.B.L.O., Faith also
provides services in Hindi/Urdu and Tamil and fellowships for ethnic
groups as well. Faith uses its resources to demonstrate the love of
Christ in practical ways.
