St. Paul
Evangelical Lutheran in Battle Creek, MI
St. Paul is
involved in People of the Book Lutheran Outreach, which focuses on
evangelizing to non-Christians and developing Christ-worshipping
communities with them. St. Paul is bringing this sense of Christian
community to Battle Creek by offering English as a Second Language
classes and computer classes to members of the community. They are using
the blessings God gives them to touch the lives of non-Christians
through the love of Christ.
Living
Word Lutheran Church in Lansing
Living Word
has more recently become connected to the P.O.B.L.O. mission. This
church is a multi-ethnic plant with Pastor Amer Khan embracing it. His
willingness to welcome everyone and reach out to them helps Living Word
to penetrate a diverse community and establish relationships by
supporting and caring for those in need.
